Job Description
As Lab Assistant Compounder, you will be responsible for preparing, weighing, and mixing raw materials according to specific formulas and production schedules.
PM Shift: 2pm to 10pm
Responsibilities include:
- To mix compounds in accordance with production formulations and quality procedures and following FIFO.
- To clearly and concisely record compound details.
- To change stock locations on the computer when moving materials
- To generally assist in the day to day running of the department
- To work within accepted Company Health & Safety guidelines
- Ensure that work areas, equipment, and tools are kept clean and in good working condition.
- FLT License (counterbalance)
- Good level of literacy, numeracy and accuracy and PC skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety and quality protocols.
- To be able to work in a precise, thorough and methodical manner.
- To have the ability to work as part of a team.
- Common sense is essential.
- To be able to work in a clean and tidy manner.
- To be physically fit as the post will involve some heavy lifting.
- Ability to manage one's own workload.
- Good communicator.
