Job Description
As Commercial Renewals Handler, you will be responsible for managing the renewals process for an existing portfolio of commercial clients. You'll act as a key point of contact, focus on building long-term relationships, ensuring policies are renewed efficiently and aligned with clients' needs.
35-hour week - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (60-minute lunch).
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of the renewal process, from quoting to policy issuance, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving requirements and providing expert advice.
- Negotiate terms with insurers to secure the most competitive and suitable cover for clients.
- Ensure all policy documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance coverage or offer additional products.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the commercial insurance sector.
- A strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the UK insurance market.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders.
- Accuracy and efficiency in managing documentation and data.
- Cert CII qualification (or working towards it) is desirable but not essential.
