Job Description

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing company at the forefront of the automotive sector. Renowned for their high-quality products and strong industry reputation, they are now seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join their team.

You will ensure that the workplace is safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant, developing and enforcing health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and investigating accidents or near misses. You will coordinate audits, provide training, and ensure the company meets legal and corporate safety standards. By managing safety initiatives and working closely with employees and contractors, you will help create a secure and compliant working environment while reducing risks on site.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and support internal and external HSE audits, preparing and implementing action plans.
  • Provide HSE advice and support on projects impacting health, safety, or the environment.
  • Oversee contractor health and safety management.
  • Maintain HSE systems and records.
  • Manage and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
  • Arrange and coordinate HSE meetings.
  • Enforce health, safety, and wellbeing policies for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Ensure legal and corporate compliance.

Requirements:
Essential-
  • Recognised certificate by the Institute of occupational Safety and Health
  • Good understanding of safety methods and processes
  • Be able to work own initiative and be able to liaise with other functions and departments at all levels within the Company
Desirable-
  • 2 years safety experience in a manufacturing environment
  • NEBOSH certificate or working towards
  • Full drivers’ licence

This is a permanent, full-time role.37.5 hours per week.
