School Administrator
Part time (25-30 hours)
£12.21 per hour
Gateshead Pertemps have a fantastic opportunity for an School Administrator to join one of our new local clients within the education sector in Gateshead area on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent.
Responsibilities- Provide Administrative support
- Data entry
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Maintain accurate records, files, and databases
- Handle routine clerical tasks such as photocopying, filing, and scheduling appointments
- Distribute communication, newsletters, and notices to parents as directed
- Assist in the organization of events, trips, and activities
- Prepare attendance reports and follow up on absenteeism.
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements.
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers.
Essential experience- Proven experience in an a School or educational setting
- Familiarity with school-specific software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a busy school environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and school management software
Desirable experiencePrevious experience working in a school or educational institution.
Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information
Professional telephone manner
