Location: Dudley
Hourly Rate: £12.21ph (increasing to £13.75ph after 12 full weeks work)
Hours of Work: Mornings- Monday to Thursday: 5.40am to 1.50pm, Friday: 5.40am to 11.30am/ Afternoons- Monday to Thursday: 1.40pm to 9.50pm, Friday: 11.20am to 5.10pm

Pertemps are recruiting for experienced Production Operatives to join our client based in (Dudley). You will be working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, helping to manufacture high-quality automotive components. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, forward-thinking company within the plastics and automotive industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Trimming excess material from moulded components on a conveyor line.
• Assembling small plastic parts, basic upholstery, layering leather over plastic parts.
• Work in a fast-paced environment ensuring production deadlines and targets are met to keep up with customer demand.
• Ensuring a continuous flow of products move throughout the production line.
• Placing mould onto a fixture and use bushing press to insert metal fixings.
• Operating injection mould machine - learning basic controls.
• Inspecting parts delivered onto site, ensuring they meet requirements as shown on written documentation.
• Highlighting and identifying faults to members of staff.
• Visually inspecting products to ensure high-quality standards.
• Picking and packing products as per customer requirements.

Successful Candidates will have:

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
• Ability to work on your feet and keep up with production pace.
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual.
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
