Location: Stourbridge
Salary: £13.00 per hour (pay review after probationary period)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm | Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
We’re hiring on behalf of a leading manufacturer who is looking to add a reliable and skilled Forklift Driver to their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied and hands-on role within a supportive, long-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to load, unload and move materials safely
- Assisting with product assembly as part of the production process
- Cutting materials (training provided if necessary)
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are always followed
- General warehouse and production duties as required
What We're Looking For:
- Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Comfortable with hands-on tasks including assembly and operating machinery
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
The Offer:
- £13.00 per hour to start
- Pay review after a successful probationary period
- Daytime hours with an earlier finish on Fridays
- Potential for a permanent role after the initial temporary period
