Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Rolling Mill Operator to join our client, a successful manufacturer in Kingswinford. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating rolling mill machinery, ensuring quality production, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor rolling mill equipment to process metal materials
- Adjust machine settings to achieve required specifications
- Conduct quality checks on finished products
- Perform routine maintenance and report any issues to the maintenance team
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Work efficiently to meet production targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with rolling mills or in a metal processing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work shifts if required
Hours of work:
8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
Rate of pay:
£12-£13 per hour
