Job Description
- Location: Dudley, UK
- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in foundry or metal casting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company in Dudley, offering a competitive salary and stable working hours.
The Role:
- Conduct quality inspections on castings and machined components
- Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Work closely with production teams to maintain high-quality standards
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in quality inspection within a foundry or metalworking environment
- Strong knowledge of casting defects and metallurgical processes
- Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality standards (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
