Industrial Cleaner ( Barnsley)

Pertemps Recruitment in Sheffield are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients that have an exciting opportunity & are Seeking candidates interested in working in the recycling and environmental sustainability industry. This position is responsible for ensuring that all metals are processed efficiently to maximise operational profitability. Working in Barnsley, the successful candidate will be part of a team working under the supervision of a knowledgeable and supportive Site Manager.

Hours of Work Monday to Friday: Start at 07:00 to 17:00pm
PPE: Must have Safety Boots & Hi-Viz
Location: Cudworth, Barnsley (S71 Area)

Job Description: Industrial cleaner / plant cleaner to ensure that our granulation plant remains clean and functional. It will be a General Operative type of role who will be responsible for industrial cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

• To be responsible for Health and Safety under the SimsMMway Safety vision, Principles and Policy
• To contribute towards the efficient running of the operation
• To ensure daily checks are completed
• To co-ordinate with other site operatives to ensure the correct processing of all loads
• To ensure their working area is always kept in a clean and state

In return the worker will receive the below pay:

• Monday to Monday Day rates- £12.04ph

All workers pay rates are based on PAYE, we do not accept self-employed or Umbrella companies.

On top of the Hourly rate, you will accrue Holiday pay, which on average is based on 2 days a month on a 40hr week, Holidays are NOT paid in advance to make the rate look higher. You are enrolled into an optional Pension scheme that can be opted out & SSP is paid if any sickness after a certain period of working time.
