We’re Hiring: Sales Assistant
Location: Melrose
Salary: £12.50 per hour

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic sales assistant to support our store in Melrose, assisting customers and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience.

What you’ll do:

• Basic admin and support with cold calls and setting up appointments at trade fairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with product enquiries.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure the store is well presented.
• Assist in merchandising and promotional activities.
• Handle customer queries and resolve any issues professionally.
• Work as part of a team to achieve sales targets and operational goals.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude with a proactive approach to customer service.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
• Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work additional hours if required.
