Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid working - Edinburgh based
Duration: 6 months, 37 hours per week
Rate: £400 per day (Outside IR35)
Disclosure: Basic Disclosure Scotland required (£25, reimbursed if successful)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to work with a third-party client on a strategic project. This role is critical to maintaining and enhancing business processes, supporting key transition points, and ensuring effective collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with business leaders and change teams to deliver impactful, customer-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain an audit trail of decisions, assumptions, and outstanding questions.
• Assist in identifying, evaluating, and tracking business benefits.
• Collaborate to inform roadmap outcomes and key project transitions.
• Support business leaders in delivering customer-centric solutions.
• Work with business change teams to identify and remove adoption barriers.
• Engage with digital suppliers to support solution development and integration.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• Agile Working: Ability to assess and recommend best processes or delivery methods, measure and evaluate outcomes, and manage MVPs, sprints, and scope effectively.
• Business Analysis: Conduct investigative work on issues and opportunities in existing and new services; collect and analyze data to create actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Business Improvement Process: Skilled in analyzing current services and processes to identify and implement optimization opportunities, with experience in gap analysis and requirements gathering.
• Business Modelling: Proficient in modeling complex, multi-functional situations, with the ability to communicate insights and results clearly to senior stakeholders.
