Job Advert: Debt Recovery Officer
Salary: £30,271 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Location: Glasgow - Agile home-based role with travel required to local offices
Start Date: ASAP
 
We are looking for a Debt Recovery Officer to join our client’s team and play a key role in maximising debt collection. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate advice is given and support legal action by preparing case information where required.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Maximise debt collection through proactive engagement and recovery strategies.
• Liaise with other teams to ensure accurate and effective debt recovery advice is provided.
• Action referrals for debt recovery, ensuring a timely and professional approach.
• Support legal action by gathering and preparing case information.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong customer service skills.
• Previous experience in debt recovery/collection.
• Knowledge of debt support agencies and available resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience working with laptops.
