Experienced Mechanical Engineer

Birmingham

£50,000 - £60,000

The Company

The client are a Fresh Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy. They are looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer to join the team and bring their expertise to step into a technical lead role. The work is primarily working on new builds refurbishments heavily focused on energy efficiency across educational, residential, industrial and logistics.

What would you be doing?

Collaborate closely and help guide members of the design team to deliver safe, efficient, and buildable solutions.
Passionate about creative and innovative design.
You should have brilliant technical expertise with great leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Be a forward planner with the ability to deliver high-standard work to project programmes.
Production of calculations, design deliverables, site surveys, construction stage duties, client liaison, liaison with members of design/construction teams, project management.

Who are we looking for?

Good experience working with software such as AutoCAD, Revit and IES
You will need to be degree qualified, with the relevant qualifications.
Quality design experience in the building services sector
Strong communicator, both verbally and in the production of reports and specifications
Understand project needs and be able to manage the full delivery.
Be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team in support to deliver projects.
Experience of working in a close-knit team
