Document Controller
Portishead, Bristol or Bridgewater
£25,000 - £35,000 per annum
Permanent (Full time)
We are looking for a Document Controller to join a busy Mechanical and Electrical office based in Portishead or site based in Bridgewater. The Document Controller will work closely with both office and site based teams and be responsible for maintaining project documentation and ensuring accurate information is distributed throughout the organisation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up, copy, scan and store documents
- Create templates
- Manage requests for documentation
- File documents and digital records and ensure appropriate storage
- Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date
- Liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project team and potentially external parties
- Manage the process around documentation within the organisation
- Maintain confidentially around sensitive documentation
- Project ad-hoc reports on project when required
- General admin tasks to support the project teams
Requirements:
- Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft packages i.e. word, excel, outlook & Teams/Sharepoint
- Experience of Viewpoint/Aconex or similar is desirable but not essential as training will be given
- At least 2-3 years document controller experience within the building/construction sector
