Opportunity for a motivated Junior to Intermediate-Level Architectural CAD Technician to join an established and respected house builder based in Tiverton. This role is ideal for a recent graduate in Architectural Technology or a candidate with up to a few years of experience looking to advance their career in residential construction and design.

Working on updating and amending conveyancing plans, elevations and layout drawings ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Proficiency on AutoCAD to produce detailed, high-quality technical drawings that meet industry standards and client expectations.

You’ll be fully supported by the current technical team, who will provide guidance and mentorship to help you develop your skills and knowledge. You will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in residential architectural design, technical drawing, within the house-building industry.

The Role:

• Preparation of detailed drawings, layouts, sketches and graphic representations 
• Production of design developments and construction documents
• Architectural planning, drafting and detailing
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit Sketchup, and Photoshop is desirable
• Strong Technical drawing ability’s and written communication skills
• Motivated, proactive, organized, questioning and able to take initiative are all essential's. 
• Relevant Qualification in Architecture / Construction / Building
• Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations & Planning Permission's
