JOB TITLE: Customer Service Operative
LOCATION: St Austell, Cornwall
SALARY: Negotiable, depending on experience
The Employer: We are looking to fill the role of
Customer Service Operative within a housing environment.
The client is a non - profit, charitable registered provider of social and affordable housing throughout Cornwall.

The Role:- Installation, maintenance and repair to customer properties
- Assess and carry out works needed for tenants
- Undertaking customer service issues
- Using a laptop to record repairs and organise workload
The Candidate needs:- Experience in a similar role or trade background, preferably with experience of basic Carpentry, Plumbing, Decoration and General Maintenance.
- The ability to demonstrate awareness of safe systems of work
- An understanding of customer needs and ability to think quickly when needed
- To behave in a courteous and professional manner
- To be able to prioritise conflicting demands
- Great communication skills
- The ability to maintain accurate records of information
- Basic IT skills
- A clean Driving Licence
Qualifications:- CSCS card
- 3 Day First Aid
- NVQ in a Trade or equivalent
- Level 2 NVQ Multi Trade (desirable)
- Scaffold Awareness (desirable)
SUMMARY: This is full time role, working a 40 hour week.
This position comes with a company van, pension and 25 days annual leave plus BHs.
Salary negotiable with experience
The role requires a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
