The Role

As an Intermediate/Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services Design), you will play a key role in designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems for a diverse range of projects. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure efficient, sustainable, and compliant electrical solutions are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for building services projects, ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Produce detailed electrical schematics, specifications, and reports using industry-leading software.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, architects, and contractors to deliver integrated building services solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry standards, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical building services design.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineers where applicable.

About You

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in building services design or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Amtech).
• Familiarity with UK building services regulations and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
