  • Prepare clear technical reports, sustainability statements, and certification documentation (BREEAM, Passivhaus, etc.)
  • Attend design team, client, and site meetings, providing expert advice and guidance
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment
  • Keep up to date with evolving UK regulations and best practice frameworks, including Part L, NPPF, and local planning policies
  • Manage workload efficiently to deliver high-quality work within deadlines

Candidate Profile

  • Degree qualified in Building Services, Environmental or Architectural Engineering, Energy, Sustainability, or a related field
  • Certified Low Carbon Energy Assessor (or working towards qualification)
  • Strong experience in building physics principles, thermal modelling, and sustainability assessments
  • Proficient with software such as IES, AutoCAD, and Revit
  • Familiar with UK sustainability standards and regulations including BREEAM, Passivhaus, Net Zero Carbon, Part L, and NPPF
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrable leadership and mentoring capabilities

Benefits & Culture

  • Competitive salary and annual performance-related bonus
  • Generous holiday entitlement with additional long-service leave
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements promoting work-life balance
  • Private healthcare and life insurance
  • Company pension scheme
  • Cycle to work and referral bonus schemes
  • Strong commitment to personal development, including support towards professional chartership
