Multiskilled Operative

Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are working in partnership with a great local employer who manufacturers a wide variety of timber products based near Woodhall Spa. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join an already successful team as a Mill Operative / Production Operative. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and precise production of products.

What will I be expected to do?

• Operate machinery and equipment in the milling and production process.
• Monitor the production line to ensure smooth operation and product quality.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our high standards.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.

 
 
What skills do I need?

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects when required.

 

What hours will I be working?
Monday to Friday – 0700am to 1530pm.


What will I be paid?
The pay for this position is £11.44 per hour, all hours worked over 40 are paid at £17.16 per hour.
