At Pertemps, we’re committed to helping you kickstart your driving career. With support from our Driving Academy, you can receive additional training and an assessment that will open doors to work with some of the biggest names in the industry, even if you have little or no experience.

How It Works: After completing a successful assessment at our Driving Academy in Kidderminster, you will need to pass an assessment/induction at GXO in Newark. Once passed, you’ll be ready to start work as a Class 1 Driver.

This is a fantastic opportunity for new drivers who may be struggling to find suitable work due to limited experience. Please note that the assessment day at our Kidderminster academy is unpaid, and you will need to cover your own travel costs. However, the assessment at GXO is paid at a rate of £18.19 per hour.

Requirements:

• License: Valid Category C+E (HGV 1) license.
• Certification: Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.
• Clean Record: No DR10, CD10, IN10, and no more than 6 points on your license.
• Age: 21 years or older.
