Packing Operative

Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are working in partnership with national pet food supplier located near North Scarle, Lincoln, recruiting for Packing Operatives to join a successful warehouse and production team. You will be responsible for packing animal feed on a packing line in a safe manner ready for it to be stored as stock or to be distributed to a customer.

What will I be expected to do?

• Working on a packing line, bagging, palletizing, and checking orders.
• Transferring goods to the warehouse and storage
• Follow instructions.
• Be versatile, and willing to learn new skills.
• Carry out other warehouse/production duties as and when required.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace.

 
 What skills do I need?

• Experience of working in similar roles is required and previous experience working with food would be advantageous.
• Ability to work at high intensity with heavy goods.
• Good time keeping
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Having an FLT Licence is preferable but not essential.
• Due to location of site, your own transport will be needed.

 
What hours will I be working?
The working hours will be changings to 4 on 4 off, 7 til 7, days and nights shifts. However, currently you will be working a rota which will include the following.

• Week 1 – Wed to Fri (Days)
• Week 2 – Wed to Fri (Nights)
• Week 3 – Mon to Thurs (Days)
• Week 4 – Mon to Thurs (Nights)

What will I be paid?
The pay for this position is £12.24 per hour.
