Packing Operative

Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are working in partnership fantastic locally manufacturing company located near Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, recruiting for Packing Operatives to join a successful warehouse and production team. As you will be working for the final department before orders are sent to customers, quality checking is a big part of this job. Making sure no order leaves the business which is not to the standard it should.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious company who are wanting to invest in staff members, offering training and development opportunities. You’ll start off being employed by Pertemps and then will be taken on permanently by our customer at a later date.

What will I be expected to do?

• Working in a team, packing large orders, palletizing, and checking products.
• Running production machinery
• Transferring goods to the warehouse and storage
• Quality checking all items coming from production.
• Be versatile, and willing to learn new skills.
• Carry out other warehouse/production duties as and when required.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace.

 
 What skills do I need?

• Experience of working in similar roles is required and previous experience working would be advantageous.
• Experience working in a Quality Control focussed role.
• Ability to work at high intensity with heavy goods.
• Good time keeping
• Positive can-do attitude.

 
What hours will I be working?
Monday to Friday, 7.00AM to 3.30PM.

What will I be paid?
The pay for this position is £11.44, rising in April.
