Semi Skilled Operative

Opportunity is around the corner as we are currently seeking a Semi Skilled Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based near North Scarle, on the outskirts of Lincoln.
 
As a Semi Skilled Operative, you’ll be a key member of a dedicated production team, processing animal food to high standards in a safe and efficient manner. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow within a stable and supportive environment.

What will I be paid?
Hourly rate: £12.64 per hour.
 
What will I be doing as a Semi Skilled Operative?

• Running a packing line, including product feed, bagging, technical checks, palletisation, and transferring finished products using a forklift (having a forklift licence or being willing to be trained and work on one is essential)
• Recording all types of stock on a specialist stock system
• Capturing, separating, and transferring waste products.
• Maintaining a clean and controlled work environment
• Working with team members to meet production targets
• Reporting any issues or production downtime to the Shift Manager

 
What skills and experience do I need?

• Forklift Licence or willingness to be trained to use one.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food environment.
• IOSH Working Safely certification (desirable)
• Some knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques
• Positive, solution-focussed attitude
• Honest, empathetic, and team-oriented mindset
• Open to change and willing to learn
• Own transport essential due to location

 
What hours will I be working?
4 on 4 off, rotating days and nights – 06:00 to 18:00 / 18:00 to 06:00
