HGV Class 1 Drivers

Riverside Recruitment are looking to recruit Class 1 HGV Drivers for immediate start on behalf of our client in the Penrith area.

This is a temporary ongoing position, with the possibility of a permanent position being offered to suitable candidates.
You’ll be supporting our contract on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, days and nights available.
The roles are direct deliveries and not multi-drop.
Weekend overtime is also available.

Pay Rates are 
Days Shift £15.63 per hour
Night Shift £16.68 per hour
Minimum payment of 8 hours per shift.

Key Requirements:
Minimum 2 year’s Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points (No DR, DD or CD endorsements)
Must hold a valid C+E licence, Digi card and driver CPC.
You will be driving new equipment and pulling new trailers.
Our clients sites are Gold Standard FORS compliant and you will be working in an environment where safety is given the highest priority.
No manual handling, all loads tipped by clients.
You will need an excellent knowledge of the UK road network.


Hours:
Standard working hours will be Monday to Friday, days start approx 0500 and nights is approx 1800.
