Salary: £30,633k
Hours: Rotating shift pattern of 6am - 2pm / 2pm -10pm / 10pm - 6am / 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting for a Transport Support Manager for a national logistics chain based in Runcorn. This is a temp-to-perm position, reporting directly to the Transport Manager-an ideal opportunity for someone seeking further training and development within the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing both the core fleet and sub-contractors to ensure deliveries are completed.
• Address and manage delivery issues with both internal and contracted drivers.
• Communicate any issues to relevant departments and sites.
• Plan and allocate drivers and vehicles, ensuring compliance with EC regulations and WTD (Working Time Directive).
• Assist with the control of vehicle maintenance.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the transport industry.
• Strong knowledge of WTD and tachograph regulations.
• Previously used ESPI/GTS System
• Methodical approach with attention to administrative detail.
• Positive, eager attitude.
