Job Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Support
Location: Chester
Full Time Mon-Fri 08:30-17:00

The Quality Assurance (QA) Support plays a critical role in supporting the quality team.
This role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Calibration Support:
  • Perform calibration of tools, instruments, and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain calibration records and ensure they are up-to-date and readily available for audits.
  • Coordinate with external calibration service providers to ensure timely and accurate calibration schedules.
Internal Audit Support:
  • Conducting internal audits in accordance with the business management system.
  • Prepare audit checklists and document audit findings in detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with QA team to address non-compliance issues identified during audits.
Non-Conformance Support:
  • Support the QA team and other departments in conducting root cause analysis investigations.
  • Assist in driving corrective and preventive actions forward by working closely with relevant teams
  • Track and monitor the status of non-conformances and ensure timely resolution.
General QA Support
  • Support with customer documentation, copying of documentation packs and preparing labels for despatch
  • Support with preparing certification for customer orders.
  • General Administration duties
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing/engineer industry would be advantageous
  • Experience in quality assurance, calibration, internal auditing, or non-conformance would be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
