Production Operative

Pertemps Exeter are recruiting for a Production Operative for our client in Crediton. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in mixing, vessels, pipework or previous food type work. This is not essential as training will be provided. The work is physical, regularly requiring you to lift and move 25kg materials and products throughout the working day.

Shift Pattern:
Monday -Friday
8am - 4.30pm

Main Duties:
" Working on the powders and small liquid production lines.
" Working with smaller bottles & syringes.
" Packing and weighing powders.
" Filling bottles up to 5 litres.
" Mixing powders & liquids together.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
" Self-motivation and ability to prioritise.
" Numeracy, with good attention to detail
" Computer literate as the role involves the use of the company business system for production operation, labelling and recording.
" Production experience is advantageous, but training will be provided.
" A forklift licence is advantageous, but training may be provided if necessary.

This role is working in a busy environment and involves you being on your feet most of the shift. Due to the nature of the position, you will need to be capable of standing and walking for long periods of time as well as bending and lifting in line with Health and Safety Regulations.
