Production Operative

Pertemps Exeter are recruiting for NIGHT WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES for our client located in Greendale Business Park. The client is looking for someone on an ongoing temporary basis until at least Christmas, with the opportunity to go permanent. The role is one that will require a variety of manual handling. You will be shown how to do this safely on your induction. Reliability is key to this role due to the critical deadlines the client must meet.

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday OR Sunday to Thursday
10pm - 6.30am (with 30-minute break)
Working days will vary week to week.

As a warehouse operative the role will involve the following:
Working in a chiller department
Stacking cages of frozen and chilled food
Keeping the floor environment clean and tidy
Helping to load/unload delivery vehicles

Own transport is recommended due to the client's location.
Due to the nature of the position, you will need to be capable of standing and walking for long periods of time as well as bending and lifting in line with Health and Safety Regulations.
