Location: Severn Beach, Bristol
Pay Rate: £20.82 - £23.85 per hour

Pertemps is proud to be working in partnership with Royal Mail, the UK's trusted Universal Postal Service Provider. We're currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support Royal Mail's Christmas peak operations at their Severn Beach Distribution Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity to earn extra money during the festive season while playing a vital role in delivering Christmas to the nation! Whether you're available for just one shift or several weekends, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role:
You'll be trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots across the UK - helping keep festive deliveries running on time. There's very little manual handling, and shifts are offered one week in advance, so you can plan your life around your work.

What You'll Need:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 1 year
• Minimum 180 days commercial driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 minor points (no DD, DR, IN, CD, or TT endorsements)
• Excellent geographical knowledge and professional attitude
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and WTD regulations
• Confidence with manual tachograph entries
• Ability to pass a DBS security check
• Successful site assessment and induction prior to first shift
