Production Coordinator

About the Role:
We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our clients team. This role involves liaising directly with OEM customers and sub-contractors to manage customer schedules and order raw materials to meet demand. Excellent communication skills are essential as you'll be a key point of contact for your clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Order raw materials based on customer schedules and demands
- Maintain direct contact with OEM customers and sub-contractors
- Download and manage EDI schedules (training provided)
- Interpret customer schedules and translate them into raw material orders
- Work closely with the production lead to load machine tools with various part numbers

Requirements:
- Strong communication skills; fluent in English to ensure clear client interactions
- Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to work efficiently and stay organised in a fast-paced environment
