Location: Ryde Isle of Wight
Salary Range: £25,000 to £28,000 (dependent on experience)
Position Type: Permanent
Pertemps Isle of Wight are thrilled to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Paint Sprayer to join our established manufacturing client based in Ryde. We are ideally looking for candidates with paint-spraying experience, but all experience is considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare parts and assemblies for painting.
- Mix paint and other materials according to specifications.
- Ensure facility and spray-painting equipment are in good working condition.
- Identify and separate non-conforming parts or materials, reporting them to supervisors.
- Utilize a spray gun to apply paint in conformance with specifications.
- Employ heat or oven paint drying techniques for special purpose finishes.
- Monitor machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects/deviations from standards and make necessary adjustments.
- Use solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning sprayers and power equipment.
- Follow company requirements to select paint and match colours according to specified colour charts.
- Handle material and minor maintenance tasks.
- Hardworking, reliable, and detail oriented.
- Experience in paint spraying is beneficial, but full training will be provided.
- Genuine interest in quality and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Monday to Thursday: 8am to 4.45pm.
Friday: 8am to 2.45pm.
45-minute lunch break and 2 x 15-minute tea breaks.
