Pertemps Isle of Wight have a requirement for a weighbridge operator, to join our client based in Newport Isle of Wight.

Based at a busy recycling plant, the role will involve ensuring all vehicles carrying waste and recyclables are weighed on both entering and leaving the site. You will be responsible for recording all information. The is an administration role, and the successful candidate must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel.

Daily tasks will include.
- General administration, alongside completing appropriate documentation.
- Data input and recording of information.
- Respond to the public, trade and other queries in a professional manner.
- Ensure waste acceptance criteria is adhered to at all times.
- Undertaking of routine computer and weighbridge alterations and adjustments.
- Provide health and safety inductions to all site visitors.
- Ensure all visitors to site are wearing the correct PPE.

This role will be based on 4 days per week, 38 hours per week. Shifts include 3 to 4 days between Monday and Friday, to include every other Saturday. Working hours are 7am to 5pm. Due to location, the successful candidate will ideally have access to their own transport.
