We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Didcot on a full-time, permanent basis.
 
Overview
As a Sales focussed Recruitment Consultant with Pertemps, you will play a key role in driving growth and expanding our client base, with a key focus on business development. You will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with prospective clients, whilst maintaining existing relationships with an existing client base. You will also work collaboratively with our experienced recruitment team to place exceptional candidates into our clients’ businesses. You will have the exciting opportunity to shape and grow our clients’ workforce while delivering exceptional customer service to our candidates. You will source candidates exclusively for specific clients within our client base, building strong relationships with candidates actively searching for work and passive candidates, who when presented with a new opportunity are interested in learning more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and inform them of our tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches both virtually and in person.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and social media teams to create and deploy business development campaigns.
  • Meet and exceed targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Thoroughly screen candidates to ensure their skills and experience aligns with client needs.
  • Engage with employers and hiring managers to obtain candidate references.
  • Meet and exceed candidate engagement targets to contribute to the overall growth of the business.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Matching the best candidate to each role, ensuring that our customers needs are met and their expectations exceeded.

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or a recruitment role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport.
  • Negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the recruitment industry.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office.

  • DVLA issued driving licence holder

  • A base salary of £27,000 upwards DOE.
  • Generous bonus and uncapped commission structure.
