Total Quality Manager

Pertemps Stoke are currently recruiting a Total Quality Manager to join our client based in the Stoke-on-Trent area. We are looking for someone who is highly driven and is exceptional at managing and developing people.

Main responsibilities of this Total Quality Manager role:

  • Manage and support quality team members and technical division leads, offering guidance, regular one-on-one meetings, performance appraisals, and promoting continuous personal development.
  • Ensure core processes are executed accurately and on time, with a focus on maintaining world-class quality standards through effective coaching and leadership.
  • Work with various teams to foster best practices, streamline processes, and cultivate a positive company culture.
  • Ensure that vital information is communicated clearly across departments to drive team success and achieve high performance.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction. Use quality metrics and KPIs to identify improvement areas and implement necessary changes.
  • Develop and execute strategies to elevate quality standards across the organisation. Prepare reports and deliver presentations to senior management when needed.
  • Analyse data from various systems to forecast demand, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Skills required for this Total Quality Manager role:
  • Demonstrated success in a high-performance organisation, with experience in people management and coaching.
  • Extensive background in quality management, ideally with AS9100 certification.
  • Competent with common computer systems and tools necessary for analysis, reporting, and communication.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present ideas effectively.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and the ability to adapt to challenges.
