Job Description
Pertemps Stoke are currently looking for a Store Assistant to join Tesco Stafford to support their F&F Clothing Department. If you're passionate about fashion, enjoy helping customers, and can thrive in a busy retail environment, we’d love to hear from you!
This role is part time - Tuesday to Friday, 6pm – 10pm
Seasonal (29th October 2024 – 3rd January 2025)
Key Responsibilities of this Store Assistant role:
- Ensure all clothing is neatly displayed and organised, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Handle and tag new stock, ensuring it’s ready for the shop floor.
- Unload and sort deliveries, replenishing stock as needed.
- Help customers with queries, offering advice on sizing, styles, and availability.
- Assist with maintaining the fitting room area, including checking items in and out and managing customer returns.
- Support with in-store promotions, including dressing mannequins and maintaining displays.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained and report low or out-of-stock items.
- Keep the shop floor tidy and ensure all health and safety standards are followed.
- Must have experience working in a customer-facing role.
- Previous experience in a retail environment would be an advantage.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- A keen eye for presentation and the ability to work efficiently.
- Willingness to take on a range of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to commute to Tesco Stafford for evening shifts.
- Hourly rate: £11.44 per hour.
