Machine Operator

I am currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our client’s team in the Alsager ST7 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company offering consistent hours, and the chance to grow within the role.

Key Responsibilities of this Machine Operative role:

Operate print machines efficiently to meet production targets
Set up machines for print runs, ensuring correct materials and settings
Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality
Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal function
Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet company standards
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and liaise with the maintenance team for more complex problems
Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
Accurately log production data and report any issues to supervisors

Requirements for this Machine Operator role:

Previous experience operating and setting machines, ideally in a print or manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on the spot
A good understanding of machine maintenance and safety protocols
Must be able to commute reliably to the Alsager ST7 area

Details of this Machine Operative role:

Hourly rate of £11.44 per hour, increasing to £12.00 after 12 weeks
Monday to Thursday 8:00-16:30 Friday 8:00-15:30
Regular day shifts with an early finish on Fridays
Ongoing training and development opportunities
Location: Alsager, ST7
