Parts CoordinatorPertemps Stoke are proud to partner with a worldwide leading manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent. Our client is looking for a Parts Coordinator to join their established team.
Key responsibilities of this Parts Coordinator role:- Obtain and provide up to date, historical parts and assembly prices
- Support the sales department with quotations
- Allocate 20% of your time to prospecting for new sales opportunities
- Identify potential clients and initiate contact to introduce the products and services
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the existing capital install base
- Revisit clients within the capital install base and identify upselling or cross selling opportunities
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure seamless follow up on post capital
- Take control of the spare parts business control
- Ordering, progress chasing, arranging packaging for all parts
- Completing freight and export documents for shipping
Skills required for this Parts Coordinator role:- Previous experience in an engineering environment
- Knowledge of shipping/logistics and export is preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate
- Self-motivated and proactive with a can do attitude
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Must have a strong focus on business development
- Must have a full UK driving license
