CNC Turner to join our client’s team in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to bring technical expertise and precision to our operations.
Key Responsibilities of this CNC Turner role:- Operate CNC and manual lathes with proficiency, ensuring quality and accuracy in the manufacturing process.
- Use Fanuc CNC controls for precise machining operations.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings to produce finished components to exact specifications.
- Reverse engineer parts from existing components when required.
- Apply technical engineering knowledge to troubleshoot, adjust, and enhance machining processes.
Skills and Experience Required for this CNC Turner role:- Proven experience as a Turner, with both CNC and manual lathe experience.
- Strong understanding of Fanuc control systems.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and translating them into precise, high-quality finished parts.
- Adaptable and problem-solving mindset for reverse engineering tasks.
- Technical expertise in engineering practices, with an eye for detail and precision.
Details of this CNC Turner role:- Standard hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (start time can be adjusted to 7:30 am, with a 4:00 pm finish).
- Overtime: Available but not guaranteed.
- Location: Stoke-on-Trent
- Duration: Temp to perm for the right person
- Salary: Hourly rate is dependent on experience
