Job Description
Pertemps Stoke are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our client’s team in the Stoke-on-Trent area for a temporary position. The role offers the opportunity to work with a well-established company, with the potential for the contract to extend beyond the initial duration.
Key Responsibilities of this MIG Welder role:
- Performing MIG welding on a variety of components.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to carry out fabrication tasks.
- Ensuring high-quality welds and maintaining health and safety standards.
- Collaborating with the team to complete welding and fabrication tasks efficiently.
- Proven experience in MIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of workmanship.
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a fabrication environment.
- Hourly rate: £14ph
- Hours of work – Monday to Thursday 8:00-16:30 & Friday 8:00-15:30
- Location: Stoke-on-Trent
- Temp work: Initially 1 week, could be extended
