Job Description
Pertemps are currently looking for a Mechanical Panel Assembler to join our clients team in the Cheshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical aptitude, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn, working closely with our design and test departments to ensure quality and accuracy.
Key responsibilities for this Mechanical Panel Assembler role:
- Manufacturing control panels
- Working from schematics and layout diagrams
- Follow parts lists and complete progress sheets
- Liaise with Test Engineers, Stores and Design departments with anomalies pertaining to design/manufacture
- Be prepared to train others when competent to do so
- Experience working in a similar production or manufacturing role is essential
- Confident in using hand power tools safely
- Component recognition is essential
- Be willing to learn new skills
- Must be able to drive due to no public transport going to our client’s location
- £12.30 per hour, with full training provided
- 30 days holiday (including statutory), increasing to 33 days after one year’s service
- Workshop hours typically 08:00–16:30; office opens 08:00–18:00
