Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Scheduler to join one of the largest utilities company in the Midlands. We are offering a temporary 6 month contract opportunity starting as soon as possible, with an excellent pay rate of £12.00 per hour!

About the role

The Planning & Scheduling is a critical part of our Field and Contact centre operations. In this role you will work with external suppliers, field managers and operatives and the local planning authorities and our customers in order to ensure that sure our field operations are on time, and right first time across our region. You will schedule and manage the workflow for our field operatives and technicians in real time, ensuring that they have the right work at the right time. You will manage our workflow against service levels and KPI’s ensuring that we meet our customers’ expectations and business objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Use our corporate planning tool Click in order to prioritise and schedule customer appointed and proactive work to our field technicians and repair crews.
  • Liaise with our customers, the highway authorities and our local operational teams to ensure that work is completed to the highest quality and is compliance with local highway authorities.
  • Keep our customers informed on the status of their work requests and explain the steps required to complete necessary work to their satisfaction.
  • Work to service levels that achieve the customer and company’s required outcomes.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve the process and feed ideas into local meetings and continuous improvement groups.
  • Jeopardy manage our workflow, redistributing the work in the day as priorities and service levels change to meet customer and business need.
About you
  • Excellent customer service skills as you will be managing customer expectations on a daily basis.
  • Strong IT skills across the Microsoft office suite of products.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Experience of working to Service levels and individual targets.
Desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of using SAP and SWIMM systems.

Location: Derby, Pride Park.

Rate: £12.00 Per hour

Hours: 37 hours per week – 8:00am - 4:00pm
