Projects Officer (Justice & Global)
Reports to: Director of Social Action and Social Justice
Location: London (hybrid, 2–3 days/week in office)
Sector: Charity
Salary: £39,000 plus benefits

About the Role
Are you driven to make a difference in social justice and global impact projects? We’re seeking a hands-on Justice and Global Projects Officer to lead and support innovative initiatives for a charity, head office based in London. In this collaborative role, you’ll use your project management, research, and policy development skills to help further our mission and deliver real change in communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver a range of justice, global relations, and community organising projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate working groups and cross-functional teams, driving progress on key justice-focused priorities.
  • Conduct strategic and practical research, analyse complex issues, and present your findings clearly and persuasively.
  • Draft reports and make evidence-based recommendations for strategic decisions.
  • Develop and review policies, evaluate existing initiatives, and bring a fresh perspective to new challenges.
  • Organise events and programmes—overseeing logistics, content, and budgets, and supporting volunteers and temporary staff.
  • Work closely with partners, colleagues, and stakeholders to achieve results.
  • Assess and improve processes, ensuring consistent high standards across all projects and events.
  • Take on additional relevant responsibilities as needed to support team success.
About You
  • Experienced project manager; ideally brings a background in social action, charity work, or international development.
  • Proficient at research, report writing, and transforming analysis into action.
  • Comfortable handling multiple projects and delivering results within deadlines and budgets.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and self-motivated—able to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Highly organised, with strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Values equality, diversity, and inclusion, with the ability to engage sensitively with people from all backgrounds.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional irregular hours, and a positive, professional approach.
What We Offer
  • Flexible hybrid working (London office and remote)
  • Generous holiday allowance, plus extra days during Christmas/New Year
  • Pension scheme and season ticket loans after probation
  • A positive, mission-driven workplace where your voice is valued
If you’re motivated to deliver meaningful justice and global projects for a charity, we want to hear from you.
