Wanted an Administrator to join a much-respected national charity based at Head Office in central London. In this role you will be providing administrative support to the team, your workload will primarily be supporting the Senior Administrator and Senior Governance Executive Officer and the wider team.
Key Responsibilities- Work professionally, flexibly, and collaboratively with colleagues to deliver comprehensive administrative support, contributing to the team's overall success within the wider organisation.
- Provide a full range of administrative services, including organising travel, processing expenses, coordinating events, and managing correspondence.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks, using initiative to ensure work is completed efficiently and consistently, while being accountable for key projects and regular duties.
- Adhere to Data Protection legislation and HR policies and procedures at all times.
- Act on behalf of senior colleagues within agreed parameters, making informed decisions on operational and procedural matters to ensure deadlines are met.
- Oversee the organisation and facilitation of meetings, ensuring all necessary preparations are made, including scheduling, resource booking, and circulating agendas and minutes.
- Prepare reports, financial documents, and presentations, meeting personal deadlines and ensuring others contribute effectively to synchronised timelines.
- Provide support to other administrative staff working on specific projects or programmes, as directed by the Senior Administrator or Senior Governance Executive Officer.
- Support colleagues across the wider team during busy periods while maintaining the effective management of personal workload.
- Undertake minute-taking as part of the role, including responding to ad hoc requests.
- Support committees by arranging venues, distributing materials, and attending events to provide administrative assistance.
- Assist with training events, managing bookings, preparing resources, and coordinating follow-up materials.
- Update the charity’s website under the guidance of the relevant Officer and/or Senior Administrator.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Senior Administrator or Senior Governance Executive Officer.
