We are seeking a dedicated
Careline Manager to lead our Careline Service in London, ensuring it delivers exceptional support to our diverse communities, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Your Role
As the Careline Manager, you will:
- Lead and Inspire: Manage a team of Deputy Careline Managers and Duty Careline Officers, ensuring the service is staffed, motivated, and performing to the highest standards.
- Drive Excellence: Oversee the delivery of a 24/7 alarm monitoring and response service, ensuring it meets legislative requirements, local policies, and the needs of our service users.
- Innovate and Improve: Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve service delivery, ensuring best practices are shared across the team.
- Manage Resources: Take responsibility for budgets, rotas, and resources, ensuring efficient use of funds and compliance with European Working Time Directives.
- Build Partnerships: Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and promote the Careline Service across the borough.
- Ensure Safety: Act as the Lead Officer for Adult Safeguarding, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed to protect vulnerable adults.
What We’re Looking For
We need someone who has:
- Proven Leadership Skills: Experience managing and directing staff in a 24/7 service environment.
- Customer Focus: A track record of delivering high-quality, customer-focused services.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of Community Alarm monitoring systems and experience using IT packages like Word and Excel.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to analyse complex information, solve problems, and implement innovative solutions.
- Commitment to Equality: A strong understanding of equalities issues and a dedication to promoting inclusive practices.
- Flexibility: Willingness to participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours management support.
Desirable: A full UK driving licence (manual).

- Act as the Lead Officer for Adult Safeguarding, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Prepare management reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
