  • Support the Local Authority's statutory duties in relation to standards, safeguarding, inclusion and school performance.
  • Lead and contribute to key education initiatives, including school partnerships, cultural and curriculum networks and strategic innovation projects.
  • Develop traded services opportunities and support income generation activity.
  • Produce high-quality reports and present confidently to senior leaders, governors and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong oversight of budgets, financial processes and contract arrangements.
  • Model exemplary safeguarding practice and contribute to Headteacher performance processes where required.
  • Stay informed on national policy, curriculum and Ofsted developments to ensure practice remains current and forward-looking.

Requirements:

  • Significant successful senior leadership experience (Assistant/Deputy Headteacher or Headteacher)
  • Strong knowledge of school improvement frameworks and the primary phase
  • Proven ability to analyse complex school performance data and act on findings
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Experience delivering CPD and supporting leadership development
  • Confidence working with governance and senior education stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, and the ability to work independently
  • Credibility, integrity and a commitment to high standards and inclusive practice
