Job Description
- Commence each day at the local delivery office, organising and gathering mail/parcels for distribution.
- Utilise a handheld device to obtain customer signatures for deliveries and receive routing instructions.
- Expect physically demanding tasks
- Perform both driving and/or on-foot delivery duties, occasionally utilising a trolley for transport.
Essential Skills:
- If driving, hold a valid UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points (a clean license is preferable).
- While prior delivery or driving experience is advantageous, it is not obligatory.
- Demonstrate strong time management and organisational capabilities.
- Possess excellent communication skills and a dedication to providing good customer service.
- Commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- All candidates selected with undergo a DBS check.
