Key Details:

• Pay Rate: £19.36 per hour (increased rate!)
• Location: Hammersmith, West London
• Working Hours:
  
  • Monday to Thursday: 10am – 7pm
  • Friday & Saturday: 10am – 5pm
  • Sunday: 11am – 5pm
  • Must be fully flexible to work the above hours, including weekends.
• Start Date: ASAP (subject to compliance checks)

About the Role:
As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of premises and personnel. This is a customer-facing role, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, so a professional and approachable demeanor is key.
Key Responsibilities:

• Securing premises by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure safety and security.
• Providing exceptional customer service to visitors and staff.
• Responding to alarms and emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities and enforcing policies.
• Completing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and maintaining the organization’s reputation.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• SIA qualification (mandatory).
• Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable attitude.
• Surveillance skills and the ability to handle uncertain situations calmly.
• Excellent judgment, objectivity, and emotional control.
• Dependability, integrity, and a commitment to safety management.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry equipment as needed.
