About the RoleAre you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and motivated to support a dynamic team? We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join us in delivering the Council's new E-Procurement system.
As part of our Procurement and Contracts Management teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation, ongoing development, and compliance of their procurement systems (In-Tend). You will assist with system administration, data management, training, and the development of best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and manage the Council's E-Procurement/contract monitoring system.
- Perform data cleansing and ensure system accuracy (e.g., updating user access, removing obsolete accounts).
- Coordinate and update contract entries in collaboration with teams across the Council.
- Provide training, support, and guidance on best practices to staff.
- Develop and implement system improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with e-tendering procurement systems and processes.
- Produce and present data-driven reports to support decision-making.
About YouWe are looking for someone motivated, flexible, and eager to learn. While experience with procurement systems is beneficial, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Skills and Attributes:- Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, and the ability to analyze and report data.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A detail-oriented approach and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
