OVERVIEW:
•The Legal Professional will join the Fitness to Practise department to handle investigatory and preparatory work for complex Fitness to Practise cases.
•Investigate and collect evidence on new complaints as outlined in the case plan, updating the process at all stages.
•Obtain witness statements from the complainant and other witnesses.
•Draft allegations based on the evidence gathered throughout the investigation.
•Respond promptly and accurately to communications with other parties.
•The appointed Investigator will have at least 1 year experience of handling their own caseload of fitness to practise investigations.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a regulatory body or similar organisation.
•Hybrid working arrangements with 2 days per week office attendance required.
