Duty Solicitor

DUTY SOLICITOR 2+ PQE, LONDON, £ COMPETITIVE SALARY (DOE). Exciting opportunity to join the brand new Criminal Law department of this growing firm, advising clients on a range of criminal matters across the London area. Job ref: 215297636

The appointed Duty Solicitor will be dealing with a range of criminal matters at all stages of proceedings, and must demonstrate experience with the following:

• The firm welcomes applications from candidates who are Duty accredited and have at least 2 years’ PQE.

• You will oversee your own caseload of criminal cases from start to completion, maintaining direct client communication and demonstrating strong verbal and written skills, while delivering outstanding, empathetic client care.

• The role requires attending police stations and Magistrates’ Courts outside regular office hours to advise and represent clients, as well as preparing briefs for Counsel when necessary.
